The "Town of Bowers" Beach

As a coastal town, the Town of Bowers is prone to flooding that may occur rapidly under certain conditions.  Residents and visitors are advised to make themselves aware of potential hazards, be vigilant as to changing weather and tide conditions, and familiarize themselves with emergency actions to be taken during an event. BE ADVISED THAT DURING FLOODING THE EGRESS ROUTE FROM BOWERS COULD BECOME IMPASSIBLE-PLAN ACCORDINGLY AND BE ALERT TO CHANGING CONDITIONS.  Seasonal and Part-time residents are encouraged to review the brocure on the DEMA Emergency Notification link below.  DES messages are sent to the 911 phone number on record unless advised by the property owner otherwise.  If there are special needs residents, please advise the Bowers Fire Company. Links to preparedness are as follows:
